Harmony allowed UMFS to streamline processes, enhance information sharing, increase consistency and improve accuracy and timeliness of billing. All of the system requirements were satisfied.
UMFS (United Methodist Family Services of Virginia, Inc.) delivers services from nine locations to serve over 6,000 individuals annually. These services include behavioral healthcare and counseling, treatment foster care, residential treatment, mentoring, in-home services, and adoption services. The agency also operates Charterhouse School, offering year-round schooling to children struggling in their public school setting. Charterhouse provides services to children in the residential program as well as through a therapeutic day school. UMFS has offices in Alexandria, Centreville, Charlottesville, Farmville, Fredericksburg, LaCrosse, Lynchburg, Richmond, and Virginia Beach. Administrative offices are located in Richmond.
